1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Lighthaus website and any accounting, bookkeeping, compliance or advisory services we provide. By using the site or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you are accepting these terms on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind that company.

2. Our services

Lighthaus provides AI-assisted accounting, bookkeeping, GST compliance and financial reporting services for e-commerce and D2C businesses. The specific scope, deliverables and fees for your engagement are set out in a separate written proposal or service agreement.

Nothing on this website constitutes accounting, tax or legal advice. Information published here is general in nature and should not be relied upon in place of a formal engagement.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate, complete and timely information, records and access to the systems we need in order to deliver our services. We rely on the data you supply and are not liable for outcomes arising from information that is incomplete, inaccurate or provided late.

You remain responsible for reviewing and approving all filings, returns and statutory submissions before they are made on your behalf.

4. Fees and payment

Fees are as agreed in your service agreement. Unless stated otherwise, invoices are payable within the period specified on the invoice. We may suspend services on accounts that remain overdue.

5. Confidentiality

We treat your financial data and business information as confidential and use it only to deliver the services you have engaged us for. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and software, is owned by Lighthaus or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without our written permission.

Reports and deliverables prepared specifically for you under an engagement are yours to keep and use within your business.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lighthaus is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of profits, revenue or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of an engagement is limited to the fees paid by you for the services giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement in accordance with the notice period set out in the service agreement. On termination, fees for work performed up to the termination date remain payable.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted on this page, and the date below reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site or our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
